Michael M. Keil, Ph.D.

Michael Keil received his bachelor of science degree in biopsychology from Juniata College and subsequently received training in and practiced structural family therapy. He later completed a masters degree in experimental psychology at California State University Fullerton, with neuropsychological testing and research at the University of California Irvine Neurology department and private neurology practice.

He completed a doctoral degree in clinical health psychology at Ohio University, with specialization in neuropsychological assessment. His doctoral studies specifically addressed the relationship between cognitive test performance and everyday functional abilities. He received additional training in pain management, biofeedback, and cognitive-behavioral treatment.

Dr. Keil finished internship at the Western State Psychiatric Hospital in Washington State, with rotations in neuropsychology, geriatrics, and forensic psychology. Post-doctoral training was completed with the Veteran Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

Dr. Keil currently works with Centre Psychology Group in general practice, applying cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal approaches for a range of difficulites, with emphasis on neuropsychological evaluation, geriatric psychology, and health psychology. He also makes rounds at several local skilled and assisted nursing facilities and supervises clinical practicum students at the Pennsylvania State University during the summer months. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and International Neuropsychological Society (INS). He is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania.
