Nancy has her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany and her Master’s in
Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
(LCSW). She has had a wide variety of training and work experiences throughout
her 26 years in practice including public mental health, pastoral counseling,
forensic social work and family services.
Her areas of experience and training include: depression related to chronic
pain/chronic illness. Post Traumatic Stress including childhood as well as
adult trauma. Women's issues, serious and persistent mental illness including
schizophrenia and bi-polar illness, family issues including parent/child and
marital issues. Geriatrics and issues related to aging. Treats all symptoms
associated with: depression, anxiety and disrupted relationships.
Provides individual, couples and family therapy. “I approach therapy by meeting the client
where they are in their process of growth. I utilize a variety of treatment
approaches including solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and
insight oriented therapy.”
